Description
Albino and Preto x NEEDLES® Shorts
The Albino and Preto x NEEDLES® Shorts continue the collaboration’s connection between Japanese design language and Brazilian Jiu Jitsu culture. Built in a Phantom Grey color direction with purple side stripe details, these shorts carry the same visual identity seen across the Albino and Preto x NEEDLES no-gi set, including the AP mark, butterfly detail, and subtle NEEDLES-inspired branding.
Made with a polyester-spandex blend, the shorts are designed to support movement, stretch, and durability during no-gi training. The elastic waistband gives the shorts a secure and comfortable fit, while the smooth fabric surface keeps the look clean and modern. The front view features the AP logo and butterfly mark, while the back keeps the design minimal with a subtle NEEDLES script detail.
The butterfly remains an important part of this release. In NEEDLES design culture, it represents transformation and movement. In Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, it connects naturally with adaptability, fluid movement, and evolution on the mat. That shared meaning gives these shorts more depth than a standard training piece and connects them clearly to the wider Albino and Preto x NEEDLES® collection.
These shorts pair naturally with the Albino and Preto x NEEDLES® LS Rashguard, but they also work as a standalone no-gi training short for athletes who want performance, comfort, and a clean collaboration look. For collectors, practitioners, and fans of BJJ-inspired Japanese streetwear, this piece brings the Phantom color story into a functional no-gi format.
