Albino and Preto 2023 Team Gi Black

The Albino and Preto 2023 Team Gi Black is a monochrome Brazilian Jiu Jitsu kimono built around the fictional sports team narrative of “TEAM 23.” The design connects the visual language of martial arts with classic team-sport uniform details, using bold block numerics, contrast striping, A&P embroidery, and a clean black-and-white color story.

This gi uses a 450GSM Pearl Weave kimono top, giving the jacket a structured training feel while keeping the surface clean enough for the athletic-inspired graphics to stand out. The white collar, sleeve stripes, lower jacket number placement, and back “23” appliqué create a strong uniform-style identity without making the design overly loud.

The pants are 10oz cotton Novo gi pants with matching black-and-white contrast details. The front of the pants features white 20 and 23 number appliqués, while the lower leg includes white stripe accents and A&P embroidery. The pants continue the Team 23 theme while keeping the overall look balanced and wearable for collectors, training rotation, or display.

The Team 23 collection is based on neutral colors that represent balance and duality. Black and white are used to reflect contrast, discipline, and opposition: peace and chaos, birth and passing, love and hate. This visual concept gives the gi a deeper story while still keeping the design sharp, minimal, and easy to recognize.
